The bible says souls can be knit together. They can become one flesh. A soul tie basically ties two souls together in the spiritual realm. Soul ties to ungodly past relationships can cause torment and bondage in a believers life, not to mention the unbeliever!
The Holy Spirit started showing me this through my own marriage. When 2 are to become 1 flesh they cannot "connect" and have fulfilled marriages when ungodly soul ties are still there. Through some dreams, words given to me from believers and revelation of the Holy Spirit he has shown me there is FREEDOM through the POWER of the Holy Spirit and the BLOOD of Christ and our FREE WILL prayers!! GLORY BE TO GOD!!
See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to root up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.” ~Jeremiah 1:10
Notice it says to ROOT UP, BREAK DOWN, DESTROY and OVERTHROW.....BEFORE BUILDING AND PLANTING. :)
When a builder wants to build they don't just start pouring concrete, but first they CLEAR the land and get it ready for the building. :)
Did you know that someone or someone's can be in your marriage/relationship without being there physically?
The bible speaks of godly soul ties:
"A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one." ~Ephesians 5:31
“What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”~Mark 10:7
The bible also talks about ungodly soul ties:
Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh."~1 Corinthians 6:16
Soul ties actually fragment the soul and is destructive.
People who have MANY past relationships find it difficult to bond or be joined to anybody because their soul is fragmented. [Trust me I know!]
What about friendships? Well, there are good and healthy relationships soul ties, such as King David had with Jonathan:
As soon as he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.~1 Samuel 18:1
There can also be ungodly soul ties with ungodly friends. So, pray about that and ask him to reveal this to you. As well as any old boss/employee relationships Idols-musicians, celebrities, etc. etc.
The bible says:
Do not associate with a man given to anger; OR go with a hot-tempered man, OR you will learn his ways and find a snare for your soul. ~Proverbs 22:24-25
The one who associates with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. ~Proverbs 13:20
Stay away from a fool, for you will not find knowledge on their lips.~Proverbs 14:7
There is an old saying, "IF you LIE with Dogs, You will RISE with FLEAS."
VOWS/WORDS Spoken:
There is also the issue of vows and words spoken in past relationships.
*Example: If a Sally says to her boyfriend, John in 1990 in a relationship of fornication, "Oh John, no one will ever love me like you and I'll never love another like you."
That may just seem like words or talk to US, but in the spirit realm it is vows/covenant words.

The bible says the 2 shall become 1 flesh, not 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, etc.

ARE YOU READY for ungodly soul ties in your life to be CUT!??
In that day his [enemy] burden will depart from your shoulder, and his [enemy] yoke from your neck; and the yoke WILL BE BROKEN because of the ANOINTING.”~Isaiah 10:27
HOW?
1. Commit to breaking them! [be willing to do this from your heart and give this to God!] Get rid of old memorabilia, cards, letters, gifts, rings or anything that is going to remind you of this relationship or sin.
2. Repent of ANY and ALL SINS associated with the ungodly soul ties. Example Fornication, Adultery, etc.
3. Renounce-Vows/Words spoken- the tongue has the ability [in the spirit realm] to bring the soul great troubles and bondage.
4. FORGIVE- Any person that has hurt you: parents, ex-relationships, ungodly or old past friends.
Unforgiveness is like drinking poison expecting the other person to die.
"Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."~Ephesians 4:31-32
I would like to give you some prayers you can pray out loud to the Father AFTER you have done the above 4 and repented to him, Renounced and Forgiven.
**Father, In Yeshua [Jesus] name I now renounce any ungodly soul tie formed between myself and ________as result of _____.[the sin]
**Father, In Yeshua [Jesus] name I now BREAK ANY ungodly soul tie formed between myself and _______as a result of _____.[the sin]
PRAISE YOU FATHER!!
